Start giving me nominations, people!

Okay, you guys. Now is the time for nominations. If you have ANY nominations, leave a comment and tell me the story name and the username  so I can post them. I will be announcing specific categories today! I have never run an awards round before (as you all can probably tell!) so I need as much help as I can. So, please just  post them in the comments. Make sure you include the author's username, as well.

Fan-fic recommendation

Hello,

I am back with a new post! Okay, here is something called "Living Through It". Its a story about Charlie and Bella and what if Charlie had an incurable illness? Naturally, Edward comes and helps the family out(: The story is really good, trust me. Living Through It

New recommendation!

Oh, I love these times where I can safely recommend a fic to you where I know its of high quality and all that lovely stuff! Okay, this one is by A.Christine Wilson and she is a really talented writer both on FF and on her Fiction Press account. She wrote a story about what would happen if Bree Tanner survived.

It was amazing and I was like, begging her to continue on with it. It felt like SM was writing it herself. It was that good. You know how sometimes you forget you're reading Fan-fiction because its so good? Yeah, I felt that way when I was reading the story.

its really good. Trust me on this one.Life on Life's Terms

What makes a good fan fic?

Some people write fan-fiction and some people really write fan-fiction. I'm not out to insult or put down anyone that attempts to write anything, because it does take a certain amount of courage and tenacity to write your own material and post it.

I've come across some really good stories and some okay stories. In terms of what makes a good fan-fiction story. You have to have a solid plot and stick with it to the best and follow it to the best of your ability. Meaning, don't stray from your plot! Don't break your own rules.

I hate to say it, even SM broke her own rules with Breaking Dawn and the outcome was an okay outcome. It certainly wasn't her best work and that was tragic considering it was the final book in the saga and millions of people were eagerly awaiting this epic finale. Needless to say, millions were just as disappointed as they were initially excited.

The problem for many were these particular elements: 1. Three books leading up to a supposedly "hot" sex scene between Bella and Edward never have happened! We don't expect SM to go into details about what exactly they were doing but a little info would have been nice, all the same.

2. Bella almost immediately becomes pregnant with Edward's baby! Vampires are supposed to be frozen in whatever state they were in when they were changed (turned into a vampire). So Edward plainly would not be able to have a child with Bella because all of his bodily fluids would be gone.

The child turns out to be something referred to as a "demon child" someone who was literally killing its mother from the inside out. The baby leaves dark bruises all over Bella's body, rendering her incapable of digesting human food or anything like that.

3. A big epic battle between the Volturi that was supposed to happen, never happened. The suspense of the moment was shot down to only tense talks between the parties involved and then they left! Me, like some fans out there, would have wanted a battle and would have liked to see how it would have played out.

So plot and NEVER breaking your own rules is very important. This applies to any story regardless if its FF or not. Have a plot and stick with it! Make believable characters and flesh them out so we believe in them just like the author believes in them!

I am back with a new post of Fan-fiction that doesn't really have to do with Twilight but is very good all the same! The story is about Harry Potter and what if his parent's came back alive somehow. I know that people have done that a lot on FF.net but the idea that this girl has is original and very engaging in my opinion.

She didn't update for like, two months and I was about ready to start getting my pitchfork ready! Then I saw the lovely story update and it was one hell of a long chapter, too. Much to my immense surprise and excitement. The story is one of the few HP stories (actually, the only one) that I look foreword to.

1. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5992040/1/Harry_Potter_and_the_Family_who_Lived this is the first part of the story. The sequel is up next!

2. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6233697/1/Harry_Potter_and_The_Professors_Secret and the sequel! Both of these stories are excellent and one of a kind in my opinion. The writing style mimics J.K's style of writing and its actually very refreshing to me. I've heard other reviewers voice these exact thoughts about the writing style.

Its all so very good. So give this girl a review or two. Pretty please?
